Photo uploads where??? On your blog posts? From Picasa??? What does Blogger say??? Maybe they want you to pay them the BIG Bucks. GADs---Please keep us posted since we all will probably run into this problem...

Betsy

I'll be interested to see what answers you get. I saw that you can buy more storage space. I think I got to it via the window that you chose your pictures from. I don't remember it being too much. Around $20 a year for a pretty big amount of storage. Otherwise I don't know. I'm quickly filling mine up.
I hope you get it figured out, I'm looking forward to your pictures.

I'm with Catherine, I think you need to buy more space, or start another blog?? With a different email account? I'll be facing that this fall probably.

Isn't that a pain! You can upload now from Flickr, or pay to increase your photo storage or go back through your blog posts and resize your pictures so that they use less storage space and repost. I've done the latter and it is a pain, but it works. In the beginning I didn't decrease the resolution size and when you clicked on the picture it would fill up the computer screen, (yours does this also), this takes up a lot of storage space. In the future, you can decrease the picture size in whatever program you are using before posting them.

If it's picasa:

In the free account, you're allowed a total of 250 separate web albums.
In the free account, each web album can have up to 500 photos.

In a paid account, you can have up to 1000 separate web ablums.
In a paid account, a web album can have up to 1000 photos.

Oh no! I wanna know too. Blogger doesn't have a photo upload limit? Does it?

That stinks. keep us informed.

Hi Darla, I wasn't aware there was a limit. I'll be watching the comments too. Thanks for bringing this up.

Hi Darla. Sorry to hear about your problems. I've only used up 1% of my space. Too bad I can't give you some of mine.

Darla, were you using Photobucket? You could start using Picasa from Google.

I use flickr to put all my photos on. I'm really happy with it. You can have 200 pictures per free account. I went a head and paid for the pro, it's not expensive and all my photos are safe incase something happens. --Randy

I am interested in what needs to be done. I guess we will all have to buy more space or use another photo site.

Shellmo and Robin are correct - I've actually looked into it myself.

Let us know what you decide to do!!!

I didn't know there was a limit. Never seen it posted anywhere. Guess you could go to your oldest entries and delete them, although that might be too painful!! Let us know what happens next.

I upload all of my photos to Photobucket and then post the links to my blogger account... Photobucket is free and it's not using space on the blogger account. You just copy and paste the code.

Good luck!!!

I just stumbled upon your blog. Can't help with the picture problem but your blog is great.

Darla: If you click for more storage on the download photo site you will find they want you to pay for more storage. I think you get
1 GB free and can add 20 GB for
$20. I will have to do this soon also. For $20 dollars you can upload a lot of photos.

Limit of photos on blogspot? Surely not or I would have limited out A LONG time ago. I know on Flickr you can upgrade to a pro account for unlimited photos.

My daughter is a photographer and she keeps her pics on flickr. She paid for the pro level and she has almost 10,000 pics on there. So the average person like me should be able to use it for the rest of her life - lol. I mange her flickr account for her - naming and tagging the pics, and putting them in sets and collections. (If anyone is interested in having me do this for their flickr pics, just email me)

Well that's a new one for me. It makes me wonder how many more I'll be able to upload.

????? exceeded???? what does that mean??? we have a limit???
as for my tan...I have a tanning bed in the garage that I have not used in months...I practically live outside...and I tan really easy...
I will be careful mommy!! lol

Well, I am just confused! Think we will all be looking for a post about the solution.

I wish I had seen this before you went to a new blog. The answer is simple, but not easy once you've already posted the photos. Instead of uploading full-sized photos, I always reduce mine to around 600 pixels then upload them to the blog. I've been blogging for nearly two years, and I've used up only about 11% of my space this way.
